Salvin Communication

If you find yourself in Chinoy Colony 11, you will likely pass by Salvin Communication. We have been here for a long time, mostly handling things like SIM cards, recharges, and basic phone repairs. The shop is not much to look at from the outside, but it is where we spend most of our day. We started out when mobile phones were still pretty new to everyone. Over the years, we have seen all sorts of models come and go. Now it is mostly smartphones, which keep us quite busy. We keep a variety of accessories on the walls, like cases and cables that people lose or break. The counter is usually covered with papers and bits of equipment. It is a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the neighborhood stays connected. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at once. We just ask them to be patient while we finish up. It is a local business, through and through. We know most of the people who live nearby. It is not about being fancy; it is about having the right cable or the right fix when someone is in a hurry. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down, just doing the work that needs doing every single day.
