Sai Star Mobile Collection

Sai Star Mobile Collection is right over in Borivali East near Big Bazar. Being so close to a big shopping area means there are always people walking past the window looking at the different phone cases we have on display. The shop is small and brightly lit, with rows of chargers and cables hanging on those pegboard walls. I spend a lot of time explaining to people why their phone isn't charging or helping them put on a new screen protector without getting bubbles under the glass. It’s tricky work and sometimes I mess it up and have to start over with a fresh piece. We have a small stool behind the counter, but I rarely get to sit on it because someone is always coming in with a question. The glass on the counters gets smudged pretty fast, so I’m always reaching for the cleaning spray. On the weekends, it gets really crowded in here and it feels like everyone is talking at once. We keep a stock of different batteries and those little memory cards in the drawers under the register. It isn't a high-end boutique or anything; it’s just a regular mobile shop where you can get your phone sorted out while you’re out doing your other shopping. The air conditioning works okay, but when the door stays open too long, the heat from the street definitely crawls in.
