This shop in Dahisar 4 is where I spend most of my day. I opened Sai Krupa Mobile Center because everyone has a phone now and they're always breaking. Usually, it’s a cracked screen or a battery that won't hold a charge anymore. I sit at the small desk in the back with my tools. It’s quiet in the afternoons but picks up when the trains get in. I handle everything from old models to the newer ones. People bring in their phones covered in dust and hope I can save their photos. I do what I can. The space is small, just enough for a couple of chairs and the display cases. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy rains start. I’ve lived in Dahisar all my life, so I know the shortcuts and the shops around here. My cousin used to work with me but now he’s moved on. I keep a stack of screen protectors and some basic chargers on the shelf. It’s not much to look at from the outside. I just open up early and stay until the last customer leaves. It's a living. Most people just want their phone back fast so they can get back to their day. I try not to overthink it and just get the work done. The street outside can get quite noisy with the traffic, but inside it's mostly just the sound of my tools. I like the routine of it all.
