Sai Furniture

You can find Sai Furniture over at No. 15 Shivam, right near the Indiabulls building on B. M. Road. We are in Elphinstone West, which is a place that never really stays quiet. Our shop is packed with all sorts of things, from wooden wardrobes to small stools. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes because we try to fit as much as we can on the floor. I've been working here for years, and my back definitely feels it after a day of moving heavy cabinets. We don't have those fancy bright lights like the big malls. It’s just us and the furniture. Sometimes the rain comes down hard on the roof and we have to move everything away from the entrance to keep the wood dry. We aren't some corporate chain with polished floors. It's a working shop. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what kind of wood they like or if a sofa will fit through their front door. It’s practical stuff. Most of our tools are old and the desk is cluttered with tea cups and order forms. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Elphinstone West, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a simple business. We just want to sell things that people can actually use in their homes without any fuss or trouble.
