Sai Ayurvedic & Herbal Griha Udyog

Our little business, Sai Ayurvedic & Herbal Griha Udyog, is based out of E 101 in Kandivali West. We call it a 'Griha Udyog' because it really did start as a small, home-style project. We aren't a big factory with hundreds of machines. Instead, a lot of what we do involves more manual work and careful attention to the herbs we use. Kandivali West is a busy area, but our specific spot stays a bit tucked away from the main madness. Inside, you will see bags of dried plants and various grinding tools we use for our mixtures. It is often a bit dusty, but that is just the nature of working with herbs and powders. We spend a lot of time weighing out ingredients and packing them into small containers. It’s a bit of a family-run feel here, even if not everyone is related. We eat lunch together and talk about how to make the next batch a bit better or what we need to buy from the market. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of salespeople. Word usually just travels from one person to another when they find something they like. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when we have a big order to finish, but it feels good to see the finished products sitting on the shelf ready to go out. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the work.
