Saheli Cosmetic Bangles

Saheli Cosmetic Bangles is located right in the middle of the bustle of Andheri East. If you’ve spent any time in this part of Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets, especially near the station area. Our shop is filled with rows of bangles in every color you can imagine. There are glass ones, plastic ones, and some with little stones that catch the light when the sun hits the shop front. We also keep a variety of other small cosmetic things that people need for their daily routines. It's a small space so we have to be really organized or everything becomes a jumble. The fans are always on but it still gets warm when there are a lot of customers inside. We see a lot of office workers and college students coming through. They usually want something quick before they catch their train or bus. We spend a lot of time dusting the displays because the Andheri traffic kicks up a lot of grit. It isn't a glamorous job but it is nice to see people leave with something that makes them feel a bit better. We’ve been in Andheri East for a good while and we’ve gotten used to the constant noise of the city. It’s just us here, making sure the shelves stay full and the customers get what they need without too much fuss. We open early and stay until the evening rush finally starts to thin out a little bit.
