Mahavir Collection

We set up Mahavir Collection over here in Borivali West, though we have connections reaching out to the Jigani Industrial Area in Anekal too. It’s a bit of a mix. We mainly handle clothes and fabrics. It started because we liked the trade and there was space for us to grow a bit. The shop is usually full of racks and hangers. Sometimes it's hard to walk through the aisles when we get a new shipment in. We don't have fancy lights or a big marketing budget. We just put the stuff out and people come to look. My brother helps me with the accounts, though he’s better at talking to the suppliers than I am. We have some regulars who come in every month to see what’s new. It gets busy on weekends, especially when there’s a festival coming up. We try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s not a high-end boutique, just a place to find decent clothes. Sometimes the labels aren't straight or we run out of a certain size, but we try to fix it. It's just a family-run thing, really. We spend most of our day folding and unfolding things. That’s how it goes here in the shop. We keep things simple and don't try to be something we aren't. Most folks just know us as the local clothes shop.
