Sagar Ayurvedic

If you find yourself on New Mill Road in Kurla West, you will probably see our shop, number 459. We are right across from the post office, which is handy because people are always coming and going from there. Our shop is called Sagar Ayurvedic. It’s not a very big place, but we manage to fit a lot of different herbs and medicines on the shelves. Most of the time, the air inside smells like dried leaves and some of those strong oils we keep in the back. I spend a lot of my morning just dusting off the bottles and making sure everything is where it should be. People from the neighborhood stop by often, sometimes just to ask a quick question about something they read or a remedy their grandmother told them about. It’s nice being part of the community here. The traffic outside can be a real headache, especially in the afternoons, but inside the shop, it stays relatively calm. We don't do any big advertising or anything fancy. We just open up early, stay until the evening, and help out whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy because there are so many small packets to keep track of, but we get through it. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, and we’ve been here long enough that the regulars don’t even need to tell us what they want anymore. We just get it ready for them.
