We’ve been here at 130 J B Nagar for a while now. The office is right behind the Gurudwara on Tb Road, so it’s usually pretty easy for people to find us once they know the landmark. Saawal Mercantile Pvt Ltd is basically just a few of us working through piles of paperwork and handling orders. Some days are quieter than others. It’s a typical setup where the fans are always on and there’s always someone coming in to drop off a delivery. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. Living and working around J B Nagar means dealing with the traffic and the noise, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the internet acts up, or we run out of tea, but that's just how it goes in a small business. We deal with various trading things and mercantile stuff, keeping track of what goes out and what comes in. The neighborhood is busy, especially near the Gurudwara, and we’ve become part of the local routine here. People know the name, even if they aren't exactly sure what happens inside the building. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks that come our way. It’s not a flashy operation, but it’s ours and we know how to run it. If you’re walking down Tb Road, you’ll probably see our sign. We've stayed in this spot because it works for the logistics side of things.
