S R Threading

S R Threading is located at Shop No 26 in the BMC Market, right opposite the railway station in Borivali West. Even though the address says something about Manyata Embassy Business Park on Level 4, we are actually down here on the ground where the real work happens near the station. It’s a busy spot. There is always noise from the trains and the crowds outside. We do threading work, mostly for industrial parts or whatever customers bring in. The machines are old but they are solid and get the job done. I spend most of my day covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings. It’s not a clean office job. My hands are usually stained by lunch. We see a lot of mechanics and small builders who need specific things fixed or made. The shop is small, and if three people stand inside at once, it feels full. Sometimes the electricity acts up in the market, and we have to wait a bit, but we get the orders out eventually. I don’t have a big team, just a couple of guys who know how to handle the lathes. We aren't part of some big corporate group, despite the weird address. We just focus on the metal in front of us. It’s loud, it’s hot, but it’s what we do. Borivali is a fast place, and we try to keep up.
