S M Plastics

Our shop is over in the Sanjay Mittal Industrial area in Sakinaka. It’s right on Andheri Kurla Road, specifically in the A-4 section. It’s a loud place because of all the factories around us. We deal with plastic stuff every day. There are heaps of materials stacked up near the entrance most mornings. The machines make a lot of noise, so we have to talk loud to hear each other. It’s not the cleanest place, but we get the work done. Usually, the trucks come in early to drop things off or pick up what we’ve finished. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a door and the address. My brother and I started this quite some time ago. We just wanted a place to work for ourselves. The air smells like heated plastic most of the time, which you get used to after a week or two. We have a small corner for tea where we sit when the machines are running fine. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s part of being in this industrial estate. Customers know where to find us. We don't spend money on ads or fancy letters. If the work is okay, they come back. That's how it's always been for S M Plastics. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines going until the day is over.
