S M P Industries

S M P Industries is located at number 30 in the Nalasopara area of Kandivali East. It’s more of a workshop and factory space than anything else. We’ve got machines running most of the day, so it’s never really quiet. We started out small and stayed that way for a long time. The building is older, and you can tell by looking at the walls. We don't put much effort into how the place looks because the focus is on what we make. There are a lot of tools and raw materials sitting around. It’s a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around the floor. Most of our guys have been with us for years. We handle a lot of industrial work that requires getting your hands dirty. Kandivali East is a busy hub for this kind of stuff. We don't have a marketing department or a salesperson in a suit. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find someone on the floor. The heat can get pretty bad in the summer months inside the unit, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. We just take orders and get them done. It’s straightforward work. We don't make big promises; we just do the job at number 30. It’s been our home for a while, and we know the rhythms of the street outside. We keep working until the last order is packed up.
