S K Brothers is tucked away on the ground floor over in Kalbadevi. If you know the area near Dr M B Walkar Street, you know how crowded it gets with people and carts moving back and forth all day long. Our shop isn't hard to find if you’re looking for 31/33, but the streets around here are a real maze sometimes. We’ve got a bit of a weird address listing that mentions Inorbit Mall on Nagar Road, but mostly you’ll find us right here in the thick of the Kalbadevi market. It’s a family-run kind of thing, just us brothers and a couple of helpers trying to keep everything organized. The space is filled with stock from floor to ceiling, so there isn’t much room to move around, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, the morning starts with tea and a look at what needs to be delivered that day. It gets loud with the traffic outside and the shouting from the nearby stalls. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just sell what people need and try to be fair about it. Some days are slow and we just sit on the stools and talk, and other days we don’t even have time to eat lunch because there are so many people coming in. It’s just how it goes in this neighborhood.
