Our office is at 813, Topiwala Center, right across from the railway station in Goregaon (West). It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always a crowd outside. Root One Natural Farms isn't some massive corporation with glass walls. We’re just a group of people who care about farming and natural products. The office is high up, so we can see the trains coming and going, which is about the only quiet thing we get. We spend most of our time on the phone or meeting with people who bring us things from their farms. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the products we handle. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, or the hallway is crowded with people from the other offices, but we don't mind. It’s just how things are here. We aren't trying to be trendy; we just believe in doing things the right way without a lot of fuss. Most of us have been here since the start, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We keep our files in order, drink our coffee, and try to make sure everything we send out is as good as it can be. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it keeps us busy enough from morning until the sun goes down. We just keep our heads down and work.
