If you look for us, we are up on the 3rd floor at 36-38 Nagdevi Bibijan Street. If you’ve ever been to Nagdevi, you know it’s the place for hardware and all kinds of industrial supplies. The street is always full of handcarts, trucks, and people carrying heavy boxes. Our office is a bit of a climb since the stairs are steep and narrow, but it’s where we do all our trading work. We deal with various items that keep machines running smoothly. The building is old and has that specific smell of metal and old paper that you find in this part of Mumbai. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception area. It’s just desks, cupboards full of files, and a lot of samples lying around. Most of our day is spent talking to other traders on the street or calling customers across the country. It’s a very loud environment with all the shouting and horn-honking outside, but we’ve lived with it for years. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, so we are always cleaning the surfaces. We don't bother with fancy ads or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a trading company trying to get the right parts to the right people. It’s hard work, especially during the monsoon when the street floods, but this street is our home. We just keep going.
