Renuka Plastic PVC Packing is located on the 3rd floor of a building on Nakhuda Street in Masjid Bunder West. It’s number 29, in case you’re looking for it. The stairs are narrow, so carrying the PVC rolls up and down is quite a workout for everyone involved. We focus on packing materials, mostly plastics that businesses use to wrap their goods. It’s a dusty place because of all the inventory we keep stacked up to the ceiling. I usually have three guys working with me, and we spend most of our time cutting rolls to the right size and boxing them up for delivery. The street outside is always blocked with handcarts and trucks, so getting anything out of here is a bit of a nightmare. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and the landlord still hasn't fixed the window that rattles whenever the wind blows. We don't have a sales team or any marketing strategy. We just answer the phone when it rings and hope the customer is happy with the price we give them. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes, especially during the monsoon when the dampness gets into everything, but we manage to keep things moving. It’s just us, working hard in a small corner of a very loud and crowded street, trying to get the job done right.
