Reliance Tools & Bearing Stores is at 163 Mg Road, near J J Hospital. We sell all kinds of tools. Bearings of every size are on the shelves. It’s a dusty place because of all the metal. The shop is old. We have been on Mg Road for many years. It's a busy street with lots of cars and buses. Being near the hospital means there are always people around. I spend my day looking for specific parts in the back. Sometimes people bring in an old bearing and ask for a match. We have to measure it carefully. We have hammers, wrenches, and heavy equipment too. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling. You need a ladder to reach the top. It’s a family business. My father started it and now I'm here. We don't have a computer system for inventory, we just know where everything is. It looks messy to an outsider but it makes sense to us. Customers come from all over Mumbai for specific tools. We keep things simple. You tell us what you need, we find it, you pay, and you go. The lighting isn't great inside, but we have a big flashlight. Mg Road is always loud. We open early in the morning. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and cleaning grease off hands. Not a fancy showroom, just a real tool store for people who build and fix things. It is hard work but it pays the bills. We don't do much marketing, people just know we are here.
