Rebecaa Impex

We are tucked away in Katrak Compound, specifically at 196-L near the Jari Mari Mata Temple. This is in the Girgaum area, right off J.S.S. Road in Gaiwadi. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed these lanes can get. Rebecaa Impex has been operating from this little corner for years. It’s an old building, and the compound has its own character with all the different trades going on around us. We deal with imports and exports, so there’s always boxes coming in or being taped up to go out. It’s not a fancy office with a view, just a room filled with paperwork and samples. The temple nearby is a good landmark because the lanes here can be a maze for anyone not from Girgaum. We have a small staff, and we all do a bit of everything, from tracking shipments to talking to the customs folks. It gets humid and cramped in the summer, but we’re used to it. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. It’s a traditional way of working, focusing on the relationships we’ve built. We just try to get the goods where they need to go without too much trouble. It’s a busy life in a busy part of the city. We keep a pot of tea going and just handle the orders as they come through the door.
