Real Hardware Mart

We are tucked away at 295 Nagdevi Street, inside the Badri Building. If you know this street at all, you know how busy it gets with all the hardware shops and people moving heavy loads around. Real Hardware Mart is right in the middle of all that noise. The building is quite old and has a lot of character, though the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We have tools and supplies stacked all the way to the ceiling in the back room. Sometimes it's a bit of a puzzle to find exactly what a customer is looking for among all the boxes, but we usually get there in the end. It’s dusty work and our hands are rarely clean by lunch time. We don't have a fancy display window or anything like that. Most of our stock is just sitting in plain boxes or on heavy metal shelves that have seen better days. We’ve been on Nagdevi Street for a long time and have seen many shops come and go over the decades. We just keep doing what we know best. The noise from the street is constant and loud, but you get used to it after a while. We don't spend any money on big ads or marketing. People come to us because they know we likely have that one specific bolt or tool they can't find anywhere else in the city. It’s a no-nonsense kind of business. We open early and close when the street finally starts to quiet down. It’s a hard way to work, but it’s what we do every day.
