Our office is located at 412 Fort, on the 4th floor of Paradise Tower. Being near the railway station is really helpful because so many people come in and out all day long. Reaction Recruiting Agency Pvt Ltd is basically a place where we look at resumes and talk to people about jobs. The building is one of those older ones in Fort, so it has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is slow. We have desks piled with folders and a few chairs for visitors to wait in. It gets pretty loud when the phones start ringing all at once. We don’t use fancy software to talk to people; we just pick up the phone or meet them face to face. The vibe is pretty casual, even though we are dealing with serious stuff like employment. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. Fort is a busy district, and you can always hear the city moving outside our windows. We like being in this part of Mumbai because everything is so close. We aren't some big corporate giant with glass walls. We are just a small team in an old tower, trying to help people find where they fit. It’s often messy and hectic, but that’s just how recruiting works in a city like this. We hope the ceiling fan keeps working through the summer.
