We operate our travel business out of the Tiara Housing Cooperative Society over in Vijay Park, Naigaon West. Since it is a residential neighborhood, our office is actually very quiet and peaceful compared to the busy agencies you might find in the center of the city. We handle all the travel bookings and tour arrangements from a small room we have converted into an office space. There are old maps pinned to the walls and stacks of travel brochures that sometimes slide off the desks. Most of our daily work is done on the computer or over the phone, talking to various hotels and transport providers. We started this whole thing because we really loved traveling ourselves and thought we could help other people figure out their own trips. It is just a two-person team here, so when one of us has to go out, the other person stays back to handle everything else. We do not have a big storefront with bright lights or fancy displays. Most of the people who use our services find us through their neighbors or friends who live in the housing society. Sometimes we even meet our clients at the local coffee shop if the office feels a bit too small for a long meeting. We spend a lot of time checking flight schedules and making sure that all the dates line up correctly for someone’s holiday. We are just local people who know how to get things organized.
