You can find us at Swastik Park in Chembur, right near the Mangal Anand Hospital. We’re in the Anupam Co Op Housing Society, Plot No. 44, at unit number 11. It’s a busy corner of Mumbai, so there’s always noise from the street. We do agriscience work, which sounds a bit more complicated than it is. Mostly, we’re just looking at how to make plants grow better and helping out with the supplies. We have a small team here. We aren't wearing suits or anything like that. Usually, it's just jeans and a shirt, and maybe some coffee from the shop downstairs. We spend a lot of time looking at data on old computers and talking to suppliers on the phone. It gets a bit cramped in the office sometimes when everyone is in at once. Chembur is a good spot for us because it’s central enough to get to the different markets. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we know most of the people in the building. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important. We deal with a lot of different seeds and fertilizers, making sure everything is what it says on the bag. Sometimes we have to travel out to the farms, which is a nice break from the city air. We just keep things moving one day at a time, trying to be helpful to the farmers we work with every day. It takes patience but we like the vibe here.
