Rathod Mobile Centre

Rathod Mobile Centre is a small spot over in Dahisar East at number 1. It’s right on the corner, so we get a lot of people walking by on their way to the station. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. The shop is narrow, just enough room for a counter and some shelves for the phone cases and chargers. We have a lot of different colors and styles because everyone wants something different for their phone. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front glass directly. We have a small fan that oscillates back and forth to keep the air moving. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait a bit to process things, but our customers are usually patient. We talk about the local news or the weather while we work. It’s a friendly place. We don’t have a big corporate office or a team of managers. It’s just us here, making sure people can get their phones fixed or find a new cable when theirs breaks. We’ve got a drawer full of tools that we use for the quick screen changes. The floor is tiled in a grey pattern that hides the dirt well, which is good because people bring in a lot of it from the street. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, and it seems to work out alright for everyone involved.
