We are located at No. 24, Bapu Khote Street, right on the corner of Nul Bazar. We are just behind Gulalwadi in Jamli Mohalla. This is an old part of the city with very narrow streets and lots of history. We work with acrylic sheets. We spend our time cutting them to size and joining them together. The shop always smells a bit like solvent from the glue we use. We have a couple of large fans to keep the air moving. Our shop is quite old and doesn't have any modern frills. It is just a place where work gets done. You’ll usually see us covered in white dust from sanding the edges of the acrylic. We do all sorts of jobs, from simple boxes to more complex display pieces. Every day is a bit different depending on what people ask for. Jamli Mohalla is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. We have been here for many years and we know all the other local tradesmen. We don't use any high-tech marketing or have a polished image. People know where we are and what we do, and that is usually enough. We just focus on the work on our bench and try to finish it by the end of the day. It’s a solid, practical life in a busy neighborhood.
