The shop is tucked away at number 13 in the Kanyakumari Shopping Centre. We are right on the North Main Road in Andheri East, so it’s easy to find us if you’re looking for the big metal signs. It’s a bit noisy because of the steel being moved around and the sound of the traffic outside. Most of what we do involves heavy lifting and making sure the welding looks alright. The air usually smells like metal and paint. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the shop with different chairs and cabinets stacked up wherever they fit. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here when a new shipment comes in. We have a small desk in the corner for the bills, but it’s usually covered in tape and measuring tapes. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where we just get on with the work as it comes. People come in looking for something sturdy for their office or home, and we just show them what we have on the floor. The floors are always a bit dusty from the grinding, and we wear old clothes because things get messy fast. It’s honest work, and we’ve been at this same spot for quite some years now. We usually close up when the streetlights come on and the main road starts to quiet down a little.
