You can find Rajesh Furnitures at Shop No 30 in the Ginni Apartments. We’re over in Malad East, right near the Sonya Maruti Chowk. One thing you’ll notice quickly is how close we are to the railway crossing. The sound of the trains becomes background noise after a while, though it can be a bit much for new visitors. Our shop is filled with all sorts of wood pieces and finished items. There’s usually sawdust on the floor because we’re often working on something or moving things around. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. People from the apartments and the surrounding neighborhood stop by quite often just to see what’s new. We’ve been part of this Malad community for a good bit now. Sometimes we’re busy fixing a chair, and other times we’re just sitting out front watching the traffic at the chowk. It’s a small shop, so we have to use the space wisely. We don't have a massive showroom with bright lights. It’s just us, some tools, and the furniture we have ready for sale. We try to keep things simple and practical. If a customer wants something specific, we talk it over right there in the shop. It’s a bit dusty and the fan rattles, but it’s where we do our work every day. The railway crossing keeps things lively, and there's always someone passing by the shop window.
