Raj Stores

We've been at Raj Stores for a while now. It's located right on Anuraj Daftary Road in Malad East. Dealing with the Vatva Gidc stuff mostly. It's a busy spot around here. My father started things out, and now we just keep it going day by day. We have a small place at #5. People come in looking for different things. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard to get here, but we are always open during the usual hours. It isn't a fancy shop. Just shelves and the things people need. We try to keep stock of what regulars ask for. Malad is a crowded area, so things move fast. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some shops closed, others opened. But Raj Stores is still here in the same building. We don't spend much time on the computer or making big ads. We just talk to the customers who walk through the door. Usually, it's just one or two of us behind the counter. If you're coming from the station side, it's a bit of a walk. We mostly handle local orders. It gets dusty with all the construction nearby, so we spend half the morning cleaning the front. It’s just how it is running a business in this part of town. We are used to the noise by now. We keep the shutters up until late evening usually. It's a simple setup for simple work.
