Raj Nangrani

I am Raj Nangrani, and my office is located in Marine Lines at Sharda Chamber, room 503, near Kothi Pole. This is an old building, but it has a lot of character. I have been working out of this space for many years now. My work involves a lot of paperwork and meeting with people who need help with their accounts or legal forms. It is not a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is mostly just me and a couple of assistants who help keep everything organized. The office is filled with files and books because there is always something to look up. Being in Marine Lines means it is always busy outside, but once you come up to the fifth floor, it is a bit quieter. I started this business from scratch after finishing my studies. We do not have a big sign outside or anything flashy. Most of my clients have been coming to me for a decade or more, and they tell their friends when they need something done. I spend most of my day at the desk, either on the phone or going through documents. It is steady work and it keeps me busy. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we have to walk the stairs, which is not fun but it happens. I like being in this part of the city. It feels like real Mumbai with all the history around us.
