If you look for Plot No 125 in Sagbaug, that is where we are. It is in Marol, Andheri East, right opposite the Mahalaxmi Hotel. This area is always full of trucks and people moving about, so it can be quite loud. Our workshop is usually filled with the smell of wood and glue. We have bits of fabric and tile samples scattered all over the place. It is not a polished showroom where everything is perfect. We are more of a hands-on group, spending our time either here or out at different sites across the city. The heat in Andheri can be tough, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We eat our lunch together at the back of the shop, usually sharing whatever we brought from home. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just help people fix up their homes so they can live comfortably. Most of our work comes from people who saw what we did for their neighbors. It is a small operation, and we don't have a big marketing plan. We just show up every morning and get to work on whatever project is on the table. Sometimes we have to deal with delays because of rain or transport, but we manage. It is just how it goes when you are running a local business like ours in this part of town.
