Rainwater Systems

Rainwater Systems is located in Mulund West, specifically inside the Sevasharam Society at Ellora Park 16. It is a nice part of town, mostly residential, so it does not feel as hectic as the industrial estates where some of our friends work. We have a small office here that serves as our home base. We spend a lot of our time thinking about rain and how to collect it, which is a bit strange when it is the middle of the dry season and the sun is beating down. Our space is mostly taken up by desks, some technical drawings, and a few pieces of equipment we use for demonstrations. We are often out of the office visiting different sites around the city to see where we can install new systems. Because of that, the office can be quite empty for a few hours at a time. We are a small team and we don't have any big slogans or mission statements written on the walls. We just try to do a practical job that makes sense for the environment. The building we are in is decent and the neighbors are all people we have known for a long time. We usually have a pot of tea going and spend the mornings planning out our routes for the day. It is steady, honest work and we like being in Mulund. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to get our job done every day.
