My office is at 401 in the Arvind Estate over in Andheri West. It’s a busy area, and there is always a lot of noise coming from the street below. I’ve been here for a while now, just doing my daily business from this room. It’s a small space, but it’s enough for me to get my work done. I have a lot of books and papers piled up, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when people come to visit. Andheri is a place where everyone is always rushing, but once I get inside the estate, things feel a bit more manageable. I spend most of my time here dealing with the various details of my work, which involves a lot of reading and writing. It’s not a polished corporate environment; it’s just a workspace where I feel comfortable. Some days are slow and I can take my time, while other days I’m trying to do ten things at once. I’ve lived and worked in this part of the city for years, so I’m used to the way things go around here. I don't really have a big team or a receptionist. If you call, you're usually going to talk to me directly. It’s a simple way of working, and it keeps things direct. I like being my own boss even if it means I’m the one who has to stay late to finish everything up at night.
