Rahul Electronics

Down on the ground floor on J Tata Road, right near Church Gate, you will find where we spend most of our time. Being this close to the station means there is a never-ending stream of people walking past our door. Rahul Electronics has been here through a lot of changes in the city. We sell all kinds of electronic bits and pieces, from small components to bigger household items. The shop is filled with the smell of solder sometimes when we are fixing something in the back. It isn't a massive showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a place where things are piled up and you have to know exactly where to look to find that one specific cable a customer wants. We get a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch break looking for a new mouse or some headphones because theirs just gave up. We also have the regulars who come in just to talk about the latest gadgets even if they aren't buying anything that day. The building is old and has its quirks, like the way the lights flicker sometimes or how the door sticks when it rains. We don't mind it. It is just part of being in this part of town. We just open up every morning, dust off the shelves, and see who walks in through the door.
