We are based out of Kotyark Nagar Society in Bandra East, tucked into the new shopping centre. It’s a decent spot, especially because we are so close to Rajdani Bakery. Every morning we get the smell of fresh bread through the windows while we’re sorting out shipping papers. R S T Impex Pvt Ltd isn't some giant corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a practical space with a few desks, some filing cabinets that don't always close right, and boxes waiting to be moved. We deal with a lot of logistics, so the phones are always ringing with someone asking about a container or a delivery date. Bandra East can be a bit of a maze, but people find us eventually. We spend our days checking lists and talking to suppliers. It’s mostly paperwork and coordination, which isn't very exciting to talk about, but it’s what we do. Our team is small, and we usually eat lunch together while talking about the cricket score or the local traffic. There’s no dress code here; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, and the bakery is the only thing still open. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We just move goods from one place to another.
