R P Patel & Brothers

R P Patel & Brothers has its head office at C/16 in Ghatkopar West. We have been in this spot for a long time and it has a very local, family feel to it. We aren't in a modern office park or anything like that. It’s just a traditional space where we manage our business. Ghatkopar is a good place to be, but it can get very congested, especially near the station area. Our office is where all the main decisions happen and where we keep all our records. It’s a bit old-fashioned with wooden furniture and stacks of paper everywhere. We don’t have a lot of staff, mostly just family and a few people who have been with us forever. The day usually starts with tea and a look at what needs to be done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who come by to see us. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay busy enough. The building at C/16 is well-known in the neighborhood so people don't have much trouble finding us. We like the fact that we are part of the community here. There is no corporate polish to how we do things. If there’s a problem, we just sit down and figure it out ourselves. It’s a simple way of working that has suited us well over the years. We plan to stay in Ghatkopar for as long as we can.
