Shree Sai Traders

Our place is right in the middle of Malad, which means it’s always loud and crowded outside. We’ve been operating out of this same small space for a long time. It’s mostly just piles of boxes and the sound of the packing tape dispenser going off all day. We deal with a lot of different goods, so there is always something new coming in or going out. My desk is usually covered in scrap paper with phone numbers and notes scribbled on them. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. Some days the delivery trucks can't even get down the street because it's so narrow, and we have to cart everything by hand. It’s tiring work, but it’s what we’ve always done. We aren't trying to be some big national chain. We just want to get through the orders we have for the week without too many mistakes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop and do it. It’s a bit chaotic, honestly, but we know where everything is kept. Most of our regulars just walk in and start chatting while we work. It’s just a normal trading business in a busy part of town.
