R M Traders

We are located at number 14 on Bibijan Street, right near Masjid Street. It is a very old part of town where the lanes are narrow and the buildings are packed close together. We deal in various goods at R M Traders, mostly trading whatever is in demand at the time. The shop itself is quite small and the walls are lined with boxes from floor to ceiling. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just the name on the door so people know they have the right place. Most of the time we are busy loading or unloading small handcarts that come through the alley. It is a bit of a struggle to move around inside when a new shipment arrives. We have been here for years, and the routine hasn't changed much. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for customers or talking to the other shopkeepers on the street. It is a practical business without any extra frills. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the front door, so we have to move the stock back. We don't use computers for everything; most of our notes are still kept in paper ledgers because that’s how we have always done it. It is just a regular trading business where we try to be fair and keep things moving every day. It is a simple life and we are happy to be part of the community here at Bibijan Street. We know everyone around here by their first name.
