Our office is in the B Bing of Vashi Plaza, up on the first floor in Sector 17. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets around here with all the shops and people moving back and forth all day. We spend most of our time at the desks, dealing with whatever comes across the computer screens or through the phone. It’s not the biggest space, so we end up hearing each other's phone calls and conversations all day long. The air conditioning sometimes makes a rattling noise, and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but then we just get busy with work and forget until the next day. There are files stacked up in the corners because we haven't quite moved everything to the digital system yet. We usually grab lunch from one of the stalls downstairs or bring a tiffin from home to eat at our desks. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break to stretch. It’s just a standard office setup where we handle various tasks for people who need help with their paperwork or business stuff. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, while other days we can't even see the top of our desks because of all the forms and folders. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and we know the security guards and the other shop owners pretty well. It is just a regular place to work.
