Our shop, R D P Tools, is located right on S V Road in Janta Nagar. If you know where the N L High School is, we are just behind there, near the Majura Gate area. It’s a crowded part of the city, especially when the school lets out and the kids are everywhere. We’ve been operating out of this spot at C/8-A for a good many years. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the tools and boxes stacked up, but we know where everything is. People usually find us by looking for the New Civil Road signs. We don't do much advertising; most people just hear about us from someone else in the trade. The shop stays open pretty late most days because there’s always someone needing a specific bit or a wrench last minute. It’s noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it. We keep things simple here. There’s no big sales team, just us handling the counter and the stock. Sometimes the back room gets a bit messy when a big shipment comes in, but we get through it. It’s a practical place for people who actually work with their hands. We like being in this neighborhood because everything you need is just a short walk away. It’s nothing fancy, but it is home for us and our business, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
