R B Driving School

You can find our little office at Shop Number 5 in the R K Building, located on Tiklewadi Marg in Mahim. We are pretty close to the Party Hotel and the area everyone calls Tigerwadi. Since Mumbai traffic is pretty much a nightmare most of the time, teaching people to drive around here is always an interesting experience. We have been doing this for a long time, helping neighbors and people from all over Mahim get their driving licenses. Our cars are out on the road from the early morning until the sun goes down. It is a very simple business. We sit in the passenger seat with our foot near the extra brake and try to keep the students calm when a bus gets too close. The office itself is small and usually has a few people sitting around waiting for their lesson or filling out forms for the RTO. It gets quite loud with the street noise from the main road, but that is just life in Mahim. We do not have any polished sales pitches or fancy brochures. We just teach the basics like handling the clutch and parallel parking in those tiny spots you find in Mumbai. Most of our students are just local folks who want to stop taking the train and start driving themselves. It is a good feeling when someone we taught finally passes their test on the first try.
