Jansewa Driving School

We've been teaching people how to drive around Malabar Hill for quite some time now. Our office is right by the Kemps Corner bus stop at No. 12, which makes it easy for students to find us after they finish work or school for the day. Mumbai traffic is really no joke, so we try to get folks comfortable with using the clutch and the brakes on these busy, narrow streets. It's mostly just us helping neighbors get their licenses without too much stress or worry. We use the small lanes and the bigger main roads around here to practice different turns. Some people learn really fast, while others take a few extra weeks to get the hang of it, and that's totally fine by us. We see a lot of young kids getting their very first car and some older folks who finally decided they wanted to stop taking the bus everywhere. The office is a bit small, but it gets the job done for the paperwork and the short theory talks we have. We keep our cars running well and try to stay on schedule, even though the Mumbai traffic sometimes has other plans for us. If you're walking past the bus stop, you'll probably see our sign hanging out there. We don't do anything fancy, just standard driving lessons for anyone who needs to get behind the wheel. Most of our day is spent sitting in the passenger seat watching the road and helping. It's local work, and we know these roads like the back of our hands.
