Fortpoint Motor Driving School

We've been here at the ground floor of Meru Building in Lal Baug for a while now. Most people around here know where we are. It’s not a huge office, but we get the job done. Teaching people how to drive isn't always easy, especially with the traffic outside, but we manage. We spend most of our days out on the road with students who are nervous about their first time behind the wheel. We try to keep things calm. It’s a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and making sure nobody hits anything. We handle the paperwork for licenses too, which is usually a bit of a headache for everyone involved. The building itself is old, but it stays cool enough in the afternoons. Sometimes it gets noisy when the market nearby is busy. We just focus on helping folks learn the rules of the road and get their confidence up. It’s just us here, keeping the cars running and the schedules tight. We don’t have fancy waiting rooms or anything. It's just a place to learn. We usually see a lot of young people coming in after college or workers needing to drive for their jobs. We like seeing someone finally get it right after struggling with the clutch for a week. That’s pretty much what goes on here at Fortpoint every day from morning until we close up.
