Punit Motor Driving School

Punit Motor Driving School is located at Plot No 17 in the Bandra Market area. Being in Bandra East means we are right in the thick of things, especially with the Gallery Apartment nearby as a landmark. The traffic around here is something else, so it is a real test for anyone trying to learn how to drive for the first time. We have a couple of cars that have seen better days, but they work fine for practice. The office is just a small room where we keep the logs and the keys. Most of the day is spent out on the road, sitting in the passenger seat and telling people to watch their mirrors or ease off the clutch. It can be stressful when the buses start squeezing past in the narrow market lanes, but you get used to it after a while. The humidity in Mumbai makes the seats a bit sticky in the afternoons, so we usually keep the windows rolled down to get some air. We get all kinds of people coming in, from teenagers who are excited to start to older folks who are finally getting around to it. There isn't any fancy simulator or anything like that, just real-world driving in the middle of the Bandra chaos. We take a break when the market gets too crowded to move, usually grabbing a vada pav from the stand around the corner. It is just about getting people comfortable behind the wheel.
