Prem Leela Communications

Prem Leela Communications is our little spot over in the Lower Parel Vakola area. We’ve been set up here at number 23 for a good while now. It’s not a massive operation, just a place where we handle phones and talk to people about their connections. The walls are covered with posters and some old shelves we put up ourselves. It’s usually quite busy during the lunch hour when folks from the nearby offices stop by. We try to keep up with all the new gadgets, but honestly, it’s hard to stay ahead of everything changing so fast. Most of the time, we’re just helping someone fix a screen or figure out their bill. We have a small bench in the back where the repairs happen. It’s messy, with screws and small parts scattered everywhere, but we know where everything is. The tea stall next door is where we spend our breaks. Dealing with people all day can be tiring, but it’s also how we’ve made most of our friends in this part of town. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just have to sit and wait, which is a bit ironic for a communications shop. We don't put on any acts here. If we can help, we will. If we can't, we'll tell you who might be able to. That’s just how we run things. It’s a simple life and we’re okay with that. The street noise is constant but you get used to it after a week.
