Ashok Nagar is a place where you see a lot of people working hard every single day. Our spot at S V Road 12 is where Precision Rubber & Engineering Works operates from. It’s mostly just us dealing with rubber parts and some basic engineering stuff that needs fixing. The workshop has that smell of grease and rubber that never really goes away no matter how much you clean. It’s not a big corporate place, just a workspace where we get our hands dirty. Most of the time, we are busy with small orders for local guys who need a part replaced or something custom made. We don't have fancy brochures. If someone needs something, they just walk in and ask if we can do it. Most days are predictable, but sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon just trying to get it running again. We have a few old lathes and some tools that have been with us since we opened. S V Road is always crowded, so there's a lot of noise from the cars and the buses outside our front door. We usually eat lunch together in the back room before getting back to the work. It’s a simple living. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just local workers doing engineering things in a small corner of Ashok Nagar. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied throughout the week. We just focus on the task in front of us.
