Pravin Driving School

Pravin Driving School is located in Pantnagar, specifically in Building Number 10, Room Number 280, over in the Shivneri area of Rokadia Lane. It’s a bit of a tight spot to find if you aren’t from around here. We’ve been teaching locals how to drive for quite a while now. Our office is small, just enough for a desk where we keep the schedules and the registration forms. Most of our work happens out on the streets of Pantnagar and the surrounding lanes. Teaching someone to drive in these narrow roads is a challenge, but it’s the best way to learn. We have to be very careful with the gears and the clutch because the traffic can be unpredictable. We don’t have a fleet of luxury cars, just standard vehicles that are good for learning. Sometimes the cars need repairs because the students are a bit rough on them, but we get them fixed and back on the road quickly. People come to us because they want to get their license without a lot of fuss. We just tell them what they need to do and then we practice it over and over. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s useful. We see a lot of different faces every month, and it’s nice when they finally pass their test and we see them driving around the neighborhood on their own.
