Pratap Traders

Pratap Traders is located in Kurla West, right in the Jameshpur area. If you know where the Delux Hotel is, then you’re pretty much there because we are right near it. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and there’s always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. Our space isn't very big, and it’s usually packed with stuff, but it suits us just fine. Most days are spent answering phones and talking to people who walk in off the street. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a reception desk. It’s just a place of business where we try to stay organized amidst the chaos of Kurla. Being near the hotel makes it easy to give directions, which is helpful since the lanes around here can get a bit confusing for people who aren’t from the area. We are just a local operation trying to keep things steady. Some days are faster than others, but we’re always here doing the same routine. We don’t really put much stock in being professional in the corporate sense; we just want to get the trade done. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the traffic, but we don’t mind. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by. That's the way it's been since we started. We don't have a lot of help, so we just do it ourselves.
