We are located over in Mulund West at Mangal Vihar. It’s right near Ambaji Dham, so you can always hear the bells from the temple if the wind is right. The workspace is on the ground floor, which makes it easier to move the plastic rolls and raw materials in and out. It gets pretty hot inside because of the molding machines running all day. We have eight of us working here currently. The fans don't do much when it’s humid, but we just keep going. You’ll usually see a few of us standing out front for a break when the machines are cooling down. The floor is always covered in those tiny plastic pellets that seem to get everywhere no matter how much we sweep. It’s a tight fit with all the equipment we have squeezed into the room. We’ve been in this building for several years now and know all the neighbors. Most of them are used to the humming sound of our cutters by now. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address and our name on the door. It’s a practical place for practical work. We spend our mornings sorting through the stock and the afternoons are usually for the actual production. It’s a repetitive job, but it’s what we know how to do well enough to keep the doors open and the machines running until the sun goes down.
