Prakash Rane

Prakash Rane is the name of our little operation here at D 309 in the Neminath Apartments. We are on Ajamal Road. It’s a fairly busy street with plenty of shops and people moving about. Our office is up on the third floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below. The Neminath building is mostly residential, so we try to keep things quiet so we don’t bother the families living next door. It’s a pretty small space, just enough for a few chairs and a big table where we do most of our thinking and planning. We’ve been here for several years now and have gotten to know the security guards and the other folks in the building quite well. Sometimes we go down to the local tea stall for a break when the four walls start feeling a bit too close. The office is filled with various things we’ve collected over time—random calendars, some old awards, and a lot of stationery. It’s a very practical workspace. We don’t have any fancy lighting or modern furniture. Everything we have is built to last. We focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to make sure everything is handled properly before we lock up at night. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a place where one man and his help get things done. It suits us just fine for what we do and we enjoy the daily routine of being here.
