Prabhavati Agro Green Energies Privatelimited

Our office is over in Bandra West at the Sona building on K.C. Marg. It's a nice enough spot near the reclamation, though the parking is always a nightmare around here. Prabhavati Agro Green Energies Privatelimited is what we call ourselves. We got started because we saw a lot of potential in mixing agriculture with green energy projects. It sounds more complicated than it really is. Most days involve us sitting in this small room looking over plans and talking to folks in the rural areas where the actual projects happen. Being in Bandra gives us a good base to meet people, but we are often out on the road. The office is pretty basic, just some desks and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. We aren't one of those high-tech startups with bean bags. We just focus on the work. Sometimes things get slow with the government permissions and all that red tape, which can be a real headache. We have a small group of people working here who actually care about the environment and farming. It’s not a get-rich-quick thing. It takes a lot of patience. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work right. If you’re around the reclamation area, you might see us coming and going, usually looking a bit tired from the commute. That’s just life in Mumbai, I guess. It is a long way from the city center but we make it work.
