We’ve been here on S.V. Road in Powai for a good bit now. Venus Electronics isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop where we deal with all sorts of gadgets and wiring stuff. Most days it’s just us trying to figure out why a TV won’t start or fixing up some old radio someone brought in. The traffic outside on S.V. Road is always loud, so we usually have the door shut while we work. People from around the neighborhood stop by when their fridge acts up or they need a new cable. We don't have a big team or anything. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy with parts lying around, but we know where everything is. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes parts take longer to arrive than we'd like. That’s just how it goes with electronics. We don’t really do big ads or anything. Most folks find us because they live nearby or their neighbor told them we fixed their toaster last year. It’s quiet work most of the time, just soldering and testing things out. If you walk past the shop, you might see us hunched over a workbench. We like being in this part of Powai. It feels like home after all these years of looking at broken screens and tangled wires.
